Our PhD community
Each year we offer around 20 fully funded PhD studentships. We welcome applications from talented undergraduates or graduates, from the UK or anywhere in the world. Find out more about how we welcome international students.
We will select those who display the potential to become the world leading cancer researchers of the future based on their application and performance at interview. We particularly welcome British applicants from Black and ethnic minority backgrounds, as they are underrepresented at PhD level within the ICR and nationwide.
An integral part of the team
Our PhD students are integral to our research. Like all our scientists, you'll benefit from what our dedicated research sites have to offer, including working in a unique multidisciplinary environment and collaborating with cancer researchers and clinicians from The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust.
